Q.
How do I send my files to you through your website?
A.
When you're ready to send us a file, select Send a File from the menu on the left-hand side of your account page. (You may also send files to us as part of an estimate request or regular print order.)
- Click the Upload a New File button (Upload a File on order pages). Your computer will then prompt you to locate and select the file you wish to send.
- Once the file is uploaded, you can either complete your order (on order and estimate pages) or attach the file to an existing order on your account page by following the instructions on the screen.
Q.
What is the maximum file size that can be transferred through your website?
A.
Any file transfer may contain up to 4 Gigabytes (GB) of information. Any file transfer session is limited to eight hours, which is more than enough time to transfer the largest of files in all but the most extreme circumstances.
Q.
What File Formats do you accept?
A.
Our preferred file format is a print-ready PDF.
We also accept the following industry-standard graphic file formats: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, PDF, TIFF, EPS, and JPG.
Q.
How long will you store my files?
A.
The files you send will be stored on our website for 60 days after your job is marked complete and moved to your website account’s order history. Your files can be stored indefinitely in your offline storage library.
Q.
Can I provide files after my order has been placed?
A.
You may provide additional files to us by locating your order on your account page, under either the Estimates or Orders tab (depending on how the order was submitted), then adding the files through the Send a File link on the left-hand side of the page. Once you've uploaded your file, follow the onscreen instructions to attach it to your order.
Q.
How many files can I send at once?
A.
Our system allows for multiple file transfers. On our Send a File utility, as soon as you select a file, it will begin uploading, and a new button will appear to allow you to queue up another file to send. On order forms and estimate forms, the process is similar.
If you have multiple files to attach to a single order, you might consider combining and compressing those files into one file archive. The result of compressing multiple files will leave you with just one file to send. (After we receive that compressed file, we'll expand it back to the original multiple files.)
Q.
What files should I include with my order?
A.
Our preferred file format is a print-ready PDF.
Q.
What is Preflighting?
A.
The files you send are put through a printing preflight process to identify in advance any issues that could affect the quality or delay the production of your print order.
When you use FastTrack to send us your files, the preflight occurs automatically as part of the ordering process. Our staff will preflight all other files submitted through our website and alert you to any issues that could potentially affect the production of your print order.
Q.
Can you make a correction to my job after I have submitted files?
A.
Yes, corrections can be made. However, please review and proof your work carefully because the best time to make corrections is before your print order is scheduled for production.
Corrections that require design time will incur an additional minimum design fee of $45.00. This option will be presented to you in the event of a preflight issue. Corrections and alterations requested after production has been scheduled will lead to production delays.
Q.
FastTrack
A.
FastTrack is a virtual print driver that lets you create print-ready files from any software application on your computer. FastTrack makes everything easier!
- FastTrack will convert your document into an industry-standard PDF document, complete with fonts and graphics already in place, so you won't need to send those files separately.
- FastTrack will provide you with an onscreen proof of the PDF it created. The proof you view is the exact same PDF file we'll take into production, so you can rest assured that what you see truly is what you will get.
- FastTrack will automatically send the completed file to our website, saving you the time and hassle of opening a web browser and uploading the file manually.
- When the order arrives on our website, FastTrack will present an instant preflight report, alerting you to items that might affect the production schedule of your order. If changes are needed, you can then go back to your original file, edit it, and resubmit it right away.
FastTrack is free to use and allows you to submit your files to us in the most efficient method possible.
Q.
Can I email my files to you?
A.
Yes, you may email your files to us. However, we'd like to encourage you to use the Send a File tools on our website, which has been designed to effortlessly transfer large files.
Q.
Can I bring my files to you on a flash drive?
A.
Yes, we'll gladly accept your files on a flash drive.
